Feeding with baby’s and cocks

My hens is hatching eggs in 4days and my cock is proud and commanded it so she will reintroduce them to the flock when she is ready
However feed,,,,, what do I do as it said to get all chickens on chick feed but that’s expensive as hella

But can’t make out what I do do I just get a growers pellet and oyster grit boxes ? We found this “

Is that what I need for the flock ? Including the babies ?

I would say that starter/grower or all flock/flock raiser with grit and oyster shell served separately would be what you want.

The oyster grit comment makes me think you are not in the U.S. Knowing your general location could help narrow that to what is likely available to you.

Allen & Page. Poster is in the UK, they don't market their feeds there the way they do in the US - terms like "All Flock/Flock Raiser" don't directly translate.

Also, their feed labels re: nutritional assays are FAR less instructive than the ones we get on this side of the pond.

The specific feed identified by the poster is this one. Here in the US, it would be considered sub-standard, though not the worst of the Organic feeds I've seen. I would not feed it to my chicks.

So what’s the reccomendation currently we been using hey hates layers , check that out after reading that post on my link I am assuming heygates is even worse ?

Grains and fermenting them ? Then I got the mix ratio to worry about too lol I don’t mind but a lot can be hard to find and I don’t want nutrition problems ,
We don’t use soy here in the uk it’s all crap, gmo, expensive the heygates has it in too which we are trying to leave , pesticide herbicide etc is massive here even when it imports clean we spray it before public get it and it’s poison lol

Sorry, I have to see the labels to make a recommend. I don't have a "standing suggestion" for what to use over there, and pay little attention to the "organic" market space,mostly because of onsistently low Met levels, which are crucial for growing birds.

Just about every feed here is 15% protein can’t find higher ?? What am I looking for specifically to qualify ?

This is an organic soy free food example the same as most here it seems generic uk

These diy guides fail to state the nutrients proteins etc too so I’m blind shooting if I diy as no guide seems solid enough

Atm till spring when I get my land we are in garden my broody hens in the next at the back we covered her where she was she has 3days left on her eggs so I wana be ready for them coming there is only 3 chicks so she will handle the flock migration hands off for us , I will put her a chick crumb feeder in the nest but when they hop down there gona be eating where she tells em so the all flock feeds really important to get them all on now I believe aye
