Feel like a failure :(

First off, don't give up. Secondly, with only two eggs in there you are almost setting yourself up for failure. I hatch 24 at a time and usually get 18-20.... There is a rate of quitting when hatching. Next time set more eggs!

Glad they're still in the bator! Could be that they are just developing slowly. An average temp difference of even half a degree can slow an entire hatch down--and I do mean *average,* so if they're exposed to, for instance, 98 degree temps for a day or so, it might not kill them but might slow them down because it lowers the average for the entire hatch.

So even if they don't look big enough yet, there's definitely hope.

I just had a batch of eggs that looked really weird at lockdown--the air cells were underdeveloped, and there was a lot of light in them. A couple I almost threw away before I saw the babies move. It did indeed turn out to be a poor hatch, but I did end up with 63% hatching alive & well, so it wasn't a complete loss.

Good luck--hope they pull through!

Oh you, lol.
