I had toe pecking in my flock. I tried all kinds of anti pecking lotions and none of it worked. I was about ready to wrap everybody's feet and then I tried spraying all of their feet with Blu-Kote. (Just the tops from the toe nails all the way up the leg.) Even the biter. And it seemed to do the trick. I kept them sprayed for a couple of months, eventually the pecking stopped.Any solutions ? I have an adult female that has the same problem. Her pecking caused an infection on the foot of her mate and he unfortunately lost his toe. Her daughter is now in with her and while it's only been 24hrs, her tows are already a bit swollen and bloody. I'm aworried that she may develop an infection as well, but I'm not too sure how to curb the fixation on pecking![]()
