Still looking. Ive had alot of responses to this. Just trying one more time to see if anybody has any knowledge of what i outlined in the initial post. I have since narrowed it down to NC and VA. Thanks for looking and have a blessed day.

Have you looked in Spotsylvania, VA 22553? Very rural, cheap houses, close to military installations, close to 95.

I'd also like to thank you for your service to the country...blessings!

Now...you said NC or VA...how about the Delmarva Peninsula? There's a ton of land out here, most of it going cheep (yes, I meant to spell it that way!) and there are wonderful people here!!!

Besides, according to one of my instructors at the community college, the Delmarva Peninsula supplies 1/5 of the world's poultry. How much more chickeny can you get?!?!?

Hey Shipmate,

From one Navy Retiree to another let me say, "Congrats!" and I wish you all the best.

If you don't subscribe to the Poultry Press yet, you should. It's well worth it and the coupons for $5 off of feed more than pay for the paper. The last few papers I've gotten from PP has listed a poultry farm in TN (I think) that's for sale. It may be out of your price range (don't remember how much) but worth checking into and you can always run an add in the PP letting folks know you're looking to buy.

Btw, I've been down the divorce road too. The Ex took my kids, half my retirement, half my disability and has given me nothing but heartburn in return ever since. But I sleep well at night because I have total faith that there is a day of reckoning a comin'.

I have taken all responses on here and they were very good. Thank you for all of them. Sadly i have exhausted every means i have and all means i have been given on here. If anybody knows of a realtor, or somebody, just selling a piece of property in Northeast NC or southern VA, please let me know.
