Hello!
I have been trying to find a province thread for BC but I realized most are American states and I thought is there fellow Canadians out there? If there are you can talk about anything except let's avoid politics and religion. Hopefully you can find recipes and hilarious stories! Come one there must be another Canadian out there!

I'm Canadian! I live in the US now though because I married an American. I'm originally from Toronto (Grew up there for the first 10 years of my life), then lived in St. Catharines until I got married and moved here. I think this forum thread will be a good one :)

How many chickens do you have? @Kristen D
36 chickens (more coming within the next few weeks), 9 turkeys, 11 pekin ducks, 6 mallards, and 4 quail. I'm waiting for my first Hatchery orders from Meyer and cackle. I got more chickens, and guinea keets. Hopefully the guinea keets grow fairly quickly, and they're as effective at controlling ticks. What about you? How many chickens do you have? Do you order from hatcheries or breeders?

I go to the breeders with a plan but I happen to see the coolest chicken or cutest chick and whoosh! There goes the plan!
I currently have 1 4 year old hen, a year old hen, 2 4 month old hens currently waiting to be introduced, 2 3 month silkies, 3 3 month chickens and 5 3-1 week old chicks. We also have 3 sheep wandering around and a 4 pound farm dog yorkie. My plan is to get a pheasant but that's currently in debate. No one else seems to want one... But I will one day have a pheasant, I also want ducks that's alos in debate Andy this week we are getting two ram lambs to eat and now for a bit.
