I go to the breeders with a plan but I happen to see the coolest chicken or cutest chick and whoosh! There goes the plan!
I currently have 1 4 year old hen, a year old hen, 2 4 month old hens currently waiting to be introduced, 2 3 month silkies, 3 3 month chickens and 5 3-1 week old chicks. We also have 3 sheep wandering around and a 4 pound farm dog yorkie. My plan is to get a pheasant but that's currently in debate. No one else seems to want one... But I will one day have a pheasant, I also want ducks that's alos in debate Andy this week we are getting two ram lambs to eat and now for a bit.
I don't have silkies yet! I definitely want at least one or two! I have quails and ducks as well. I have Pekin ducks for eggs/meat. I want to get the khaki campbells. What do you use the sheep for? What breeds?

Hi !!!
I am from Port Coquitlam, Bc! Where are you from?!? Very nice to meet you! I am very new to chickens, I currently have 4. 2 cream legbars (1 hen 1 roo) and 2 buff laced polish chicks. They are all only 6.5 weeks old so we don't know what the polish are yet. I will have to rehome all the Roos so hopefully there is at least 1 hen!!! ❤️ nice to meet you!!!

I have 4 cream legbars and 4 blue ameracauna chicks coming today. They're coming through the post and I'm a little worried! Do you like the breed? Have they started laying?

im from Vancouver Island, BC. :) i have light sussex, svart honas, 2 cream legbars and a few misc hens also :)

I am in BC, north Okanagan. We moved here from Ontario last fall. This is my first time owning chickens but my family always had them.

I need to know where Canadians get their vaccines and medications for their hens. There is no farm vet in this area. I don't think pet vets deal with chickens. Is this correct?

I have been struggling with different illnesses in the last few months. We are adding chickens so my hens need to be safe for new chicks.
