I've looked everywhere to see how many eggs ducks typically lay, and all I've found is one to possibly two Ina day. We have a duck couple that hangs out on our property and found the nest under a large bush yesterday. When my wife and I first saw it, there were 2-eggs, 15-minutes later when we showed our son, there were 12-eggs. My question is, while I know it appears to be possible, could there be another explanation to this if its not likely...???

The female duck moved some of the nesting material around, exposing the previously covered eggs. Have fun watching the ducklings when they hatch!
