I know this is not meat bird related but thought I would share.
I have always used poultry netting for my goats that I raise. But this year I have been fixing most of my nets that are 2 - 4 years old. Mice eating them, snags and tangling tears, new posts, etc. Plus on occasion I will come back to the field only to see a goat tangled in the mess for god knows how long.
So I stumbled across the Gallagher SmartFence

All I can say is this fencing system is awesome and had it up in pasture in 80 x 80 paddock size in under 4 minutes plugged in an ready to go. Took the goats one zap and they kept their distance almost instantly.
Fence was a local implement store for $259 and I had an extra .25 joule solar charger. Accroding to specs the solar charger could run about 10 miles of this fencing.

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
