Feng Sheui egg laying formation, or symetrical egg laying?

My girls left me this in the nest box this morning. I know the hens will shift the eggs around, but I never knew they would build a pyramid. Looks like I need to wash my golf ball. Does anyone else use grass clippings for nesting material? I ran out of hay and decided to use 'prairie' hay.
