Still you can put the rabbit in a smaller cage and tie it in front of the trap, the fox will do anything trying to get the rabbit, it will get into the trap to investigate

Alright, I got it. I think I'll see how my luck goes with covering/hiding the trap first, and if that doesn't work out, would you guys suggest using a snare? I've seen those alot during this whole experience, and was wondering if that would be ok to use? They seem like a good trap, but I'm not sure..

I did the best I could to cover the top and flooring with large leaves. How do you get rid of the human scent? Do you leave the trap out a few days without touching it?

I spray it with apple juice

Think something small can get out through the holes; mice, birds and similar, I have a heavy duty fox trap, blackbirds do that to me all the time
