Our neighbor had a skunk burry under their airconditioner in the summer and have babies you could smell it throughout the entire house when the air kicked on

They don't like the scent of oranges, either. I used orange peels to keep a stray off my porch when we lived in another house. For some reason it really liked to sit on the steps of our porch which wouldn't have been bad if it didn't want to scratch up the doorjamb. I put orange peels out there every time the old ones dried out and it did work but depending on the size of your house, that might be a LOT of oranges.
