Fermented feed 3 day cycle?

Hello,
So I discovered fermented feed a while ago and I've been making it for my chickens so they get it every three days but I've heard that some people use a three day cycle? I've looked on the internet and one site says I start three batches all on the same day but this doesn't seem right since how would the day 1 bucket get fermented enough to be fed to the chickens on the next day. Any help would be much appreciated.

3 day cycle goes as follow:
Set bucket 1 the first day
Set bucket 2 the second day
Set bucket 3 the third day

By the time you set bucket 3, bucket one is ready, can be emptied and and put back into rotation.
