Fermented feed

Ok. I just made my first batch. I read here someone said they like mash potato consistency. Mine is very watery. Do I drain it?

I'd serve it as is and see how they like it. Mine want it thick and dry as possible, like very stiff oatmeal, but I know how much water to put in to get that result each time. Even if I put in too much water, I never drain water out - I just add more feed to absorb the excess.

Ok..thank you! Do I store it in the frig?

I leave mine out however it can mold in hot or humid climates, so if that becomes an issue for you, refrigerating it should help.

Humidity is a problem here in GA. Maybe, I will add a tad more feed. It just wasn't covered, so I added more to cover, and then everyday, I would stir and it wouldn't be covered, so I would add more water. Thanks so much!
