Fermenting Feed for Meat Birds

I made some Jalapeno ones upon request by the owner of my feed store, and he loved them. TW, I did add sugar to them to balance out the pickle and the heat. I don't have a recipe though.....more of that taste and adjust thing. I may add some garlic to the Jalapeno ones if I try to make them again.

Reporting on the ice chest for keeping the FF in the winter coop: I like it, it works! Temps into the teens and twenties and no freezing, still has good ferment going. The cooler gets pretty dirty looking with all the dust the gals are kicking up in the coop right now, but this works fine. Will continue to report on any changes for good or bad with this idea but so far it's a winner with me.

Hey Bee, I'm sure you've said it somewhere in this thread, but what do you have in your FF?
