Fermenting Feed for Meat Birds

Pigs can make the hair fall out of your nose! LOL Too many in the wrong place... just bad! LOL I'm thinking about getting a couple in the spring. Depending on what's happening around here by then. Ya never know!
Keep in mind...pigs will eat chickens...dead or alive!

I have always found those creatures a bit creepy. lol But one sure would be nice in the freezer - along with some goats and a big fat calf... and more chicken and some game. Can you telll I like meat? LOL But I believe my top choices would be goats and chicken.

Yep, me too. I would love to raise a few goats here, but it's all I can do to keep up with my chickens. :p

Goats make great lawnmowers! Well actually I guess Bee's sheep would make the good lawnmowers. The goats will clean the weeds out.

@Bee... do hair sheep love to eat flowers as well as goats do? Those suckers love rosebushes!

Great pics & handsome son there hellbender.

Awesome buck too. Here's some of my 18 acre property from a few weeks ago. Snow has all but melted now with warmer temps.

Had the pleasure of visiting Kalispell, Montana. If we ever win the lottery, Montana is a place we'd consider moving to.

To me, their huckleberries beat our saskatoon berries.

They do eat flowers, though they only had access to some wildflowers along the front fence line.....no one plants flowers where chickens or sheep can get to them unless they want to waste a lot of time and money. I fenced off the back and side yards and planted all my pretties in the front yard. You can have both worlds but not in the same place!
