Tinnitus! Oh how I hate it! Sometimes it is SO LOUD. I can't stand it. It takes a great deal of concentration to NOT LISTEN to it! Ugh.
When mine first started I could not stand it! I thought ohhh my gosh I can not live with this! Now I can usually ignore it unless it gets really loud. It's been loud today! My crickets are a chirping!
When it kicks in? Mine is CONSTANT! I hate it.
The reason I got on here was to share something that I think only this group will appreciate.

cute!
If calcium levels contribute to tinnitus, it is HIGH calcium, so supplements wouldn't help.I use a fan at night for MORE noise (like I need that right?) because I'm a light sleeper and most any noise at all will jar me awake. Plus, I use ear plugs because my husband's snoring can raise the roof! So, now, I have to have the earplugs in or I can't sleep. I still use the fan to keep from overheating sometimes. I haven't had any blood tests done at all (no insurance) but I've done a lot of research myself and I've taken lots of calcium but it hasn't helped. I think the last thing I read was that "they" don't really know what causes it so I guess I quit looking.
My hubby has it, and the CPAP has stopped his snoring altogether....but he's still breathingSometimes I WISH he would stop breathing.![]()
