Fermenting Feed for Meat Birds

I personally won't use Roundup around my Chickens or anywhere near my land, due to the neurological damage I myself have from repeated exposure when young!

If it would do it to me I can't imagine what it would do to my chickens! Nada on chemicals of any kind I can avoid.
The other thing you wouldn't want to do is consume a bird that has been exposed to it and has it in the flesh that you eat.

Fifties for me

I was 9 years old when I watched Elvis on Ed Sullivan in '56
I wasn't born when Elvis appeared on the Ed Sullivan show.....

Hey RM , Won't Round Up harm the chickens?? I need to know too. : (
oh I don't let them out for days when I do round up-ing. After rains etc. so it doesn't effect them. Someone told me only 3 days but I do more than that because we eat their eggs and I don't want toxins. or anyone else to have them. It's also not round up but I can't remember the name of it so I just call it that.

Not at all. My age has never bothered me. When I turned 30, 40, 50, 60, I really didn't feel any different. A little slower. A lot heavier and pretty dawg gone creaky now and then but on the whole, I feel great. Happier than I've ever been in m life

I know how you feel about the weight, the creaks, and slowing down......beats the alternative.

TW, you probably don't live in a city. But if you have been in those perfectly groomed suburbs you sometimes see little flags by the sidewalk with a kid and a dog in a big red circle with a line through it. Then in fine print underneath it reads keep off lawn, lawn chemical application. Where I live those flags are required for six MONTHS after the last application.

These flags. If you do more than a spot treatment in my city by law these flags must be posted, and in most cities, though mine has exceptionally long requirements.
