Fermenting Feed for Meat Birds

If my old Jeep would make it, I'd try to be there! But...the last Bee demonstration I went to, no one much listened to me at all...just a few lonely people wanted to learn anything and everyone else went off on their own and made a huge mess of a processing, one of which I was embarrassed to be present at...

Sure did show me the difference between how I see myself and how others see me...very humbling. I'm nothing of importance, at the end of the day, and that's okay. Everything I know I have learned because God has given it to me and so to God be the glory, not ol' Bee.

And that's MORE than okay!

One thing that I have learned is that God does not give you everything on a silver platter, but he does place certain people in your life. If you are willing to listen to the gifts and knowledge bestowed upon them, you are all the better for it. Sometimes it takes sweat, tears, and dirt under your nails to get to where he wants you, but every path you cross is important.

Are you people planning a shindig without me! That's okay I ain't above crashing a party! LOL I've been to Texas twice but didn't get to stay long enough or see enough - but I did really like it. If I was ever going to move I think Texas would be a good place.

...and speaking of you Texas people :) y'all have sent us a new TICK up here, the "lonestar tick" - has a white spot on its back. Half or more of what I have found on me this year have been lonestar ticks. You can have them back! lol I have never noticed them until this year.

In Louisiana you can get fresh cracklins at just about any meat market or gas station. I say move to TX because us in LA have to go that way for something or the other (best organic feed mills and cheap cattle). We love to eat and talk about older was of doing things, you would fit in perfectly.

We get our cracklins from a good friend's Mexican store/restaurant. He has a big self-serve bin full of them (the little small hard ones you make cornbread out of). Ever tried soaking them with vinegar and hot sauce and eating them like potato chips? Mmmm mm so good ...and so bad for you! lol

Just be glad you didn't get their crazy ants. All of Louisiana has them now. You can't fight them.

Willing to make a trade? I prefer your ticks or my fire ants back.
