Any idea what brand vacuum sealer is the best?

Hard to say since we've only tried one brand, but we have a foodsaver and my parents have one. We have no complaints other than it gets too hot and really slows the process down when you have a lot to do.

Ours also has the drip tray for when juices get sucked up so there's not a mess. But, when the seal area gets wet, you have to hit the seal button 3-4 times in a row so that you hopefully get a good seal. I really don't like it when the seal area gets wet because it diminishes the quality of the seal, if it seal at all.

He is pretty. If I didn't think my DH would kill or divorce me, I would get some buckeyes for breeding meat crosses. I gotta keep what I have for now.

That's one breed I wouldn't mind trying if the laying performance was better on the breed. I love their color and build and I've heard they are really hardy. I think I'd be tempted to breed some RIR into them to get more laying efficacy.

I could sneak you some eggs then when they hatch out you could say,"What in the world!!! What has happened to my Marans!!!" Then blame your husband for pulling a quick one on you. hahaha

I'm hoping the laying performance is better than some say. I do like that roo. They can all be in the coop but if I go out he comes out to see what's going on. lol Him and his brother are so big they haven't got the breeding thing down yet. Poor girls with those big brutes standing on their back. LOL I'm anxious to see what a Buckeye X Delaware cross does.
