Fermenting Feed for Meat Birds

Quote: I had an acquainted I met on line... Draft horse people...VBG. Her husband was a Fireman in Los Angeles. They bought their dream home in UTAH 80 acres of driving trails and forest... They bought a nice live in horse trailer... He lived in that in LA she lived in Utah. They wrote their big bucks horse trailer as a vacation home. Were talking fifth wheel half living quarters half horse trailer big enough to hold Four Fijords. He used the horse side for parking his motorcycle. I believe the intention was for him to finish out his time in order to get fully vested in retirement.

So those rich kids were living in a Tax Write off vacation home.... LOL.

I was thinking... that light on my head might give a rooster a good target in the dark to attack. Hmmm...?

Nah...he'll be ....

Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night

Good points ... Perhaps I shouldn't have been so quick to judge. My bad... I apologize.

No need! I do the same thing and it's pretty much because we've become jaded from reading posts on forums. It's an overload of irrational, impractical and illogical statements and so when we see another we just assume that is someone out there who is an otherwise functioning adult but are more of the same that we have become used to.

That is what I need!!! Why didn't I think of this before! If I had a good sized stock trailer I could just pack up everybody and leave when I want to run away from home!

When I was in college there were kids with horse trailers WITH LIVING QUARTERS! Snot nosed rich kids! lol

Makes ya wonder why more folks are not converting old stock trailers into mobile coops for pasture raising their birds...or for moving them in a jiffy to a new property.

You guys... Now I want a chicken lady sleep over slumber party!

Why oh why am I the only farmer folk in my whole city it seems?
Not a farmer here.... LOL. Hey... Here in San Diego we have a Chicken Chat group we talk just about anything... We get together about two or three times as a whole group somewhere chicken friendly and do a potluck, sell eggs soap jams crafts and generally have a good time. If you poked around a little there might be enough people in Cleveland or the surrounding area who might want to join up as a group.

Oh shoot, they didn't live in those trailers. They were all parked out at the horse farm and they all had apartments to live in. Big ol' trailers, haul 4-6 horses and full living quarters, a lot of them with matching duely trucks. Most of them did quite a bit of traveling for compitition, rodeo.

LOL Too funny! No need! I do the same thing and it's pretty much because we've become jaded from reading posts on forums. It's an overload of irrational, impractical and illogical statements and so when we see another we just assume that is someone out there who is an otherwise functioning adult but are more of the same that we have become used to. Agree. Makes ya wonder why more folks are not converting old stock trailers into mobile coops for pasture raising their birds...or for moving them in a jiffy to a new property. True! Or for a quick escape to the Holiday Inn. LOL
