What does everyone like to use for fermenting? My girls don't enjoy oats (which is tough cuz I got a 50lb bag they're going to finish whether they like it or not ), and they also don't like peas. Wheat berries are winners for sure, but I want to give them a good mix of stuff to make sure they have variety since the fermented food has reduced their consumption of their all flock feed.

I use triticale, field peas, BOSS, flax seed, fish meal and Fertrell Poutry Nutri-balancer for a complete feed with whole grains the comes out to 19% protein. I ferment for three days, strain, mix in enough Flock Raiser to get a good consistency and feed.

I use Scratch & Peck grower, BOSS, flax, dried marigold, and poultry conditioner - about 20% protein, all said and done. Three days fermentation, strain, and feed in open dishes.
