Hey everyone,
I’ve been a lurker for a year now and have learned everything from searching the forums and haven’t even needed to post, you guys rock. I’m stuck on this fertile egg situation no matter how many pics I look at or threads I read. I definitely have 4 hens, and 1 I don’t know about. It’s a silver laced cochin, acts like a rooster, minus the crowing, but looks like a hen. I cracked an egg the other day and am not sure what I’m seeing so decided it was finally time to ask the experts.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Yep, I'm going through pics/videos now trying to find a decent one. It's so skittish and nothing like the other 4.

This is the best I can do off my phone, I can run out to the coop now if they aren’t good enough.

It/he is almost 1. I have a white cochin, same age, and have noticed the silver laced has a much more droopy, fancy tail. The comb/wattles are the same size though.

Here are the other 4. All the others squat and I think I’ve seen all in the box laying. Does squatting always mean hen?
