In the spring I plan to start breeding Anconas and maybe a specific cross. But it's hard to wait that long, and I may try a hatch beforehand so I know what I'm doing a little better when I do breed them.No problem!

Poor Pekin mothers!I'm inclined to say fertile, though i have very low success rates incubating duck eggs (though much better than my broody pekins, who have NEVER successfully hatched even one egg). I've let them try with probably 200 eggs in multiple nests this year. All fails.
That is, I am NOT a duck expert
