Fertile eggs and air travel?

There is a thread on here called "getting the flock out of here" and the guy who started it lives in the Philipines and flies eggs with him all the time. Initially I believe he carried them in a golf bag.

I thought about doing this, I had a friend in FL I am in WA state, and was going to bring them. I was told you should try and tell them going into inspection to have them privately inspected because they are live, and not ex-rayed but if they want to ex-ray I guess you gotta, I am sure every airport is diff, plus if you have a lady in charge or not. We decided not to go on our FL trip so I don't know how it would have played out but good luck to you.

Thanks everyone!!! I need to speak to OZ and get his advice for sure, I had forgotten about that thread and his adventures! When I am ready to make the reservations I will call the airports and speak to someone within the TSA admin and ask how to proceed and what they will need from me or what I can expect... Talked to my sis today, they are pretty excited!
