Fertile eggs on ebay

Don't guilt yourself into going back on your clearly stated business policy! There is not a single egg seller on the Internet - either on eBay or any of the major hatcheries - that will guarantee a hatch rate. In fact, I've never even run into a local farmer who would guarantee hatching. Unfortunately, when incubating someone else's eggs, the only guarantee is that you are taking a risk!

Thank you! I really needed to read that!

Sold some fertile eggs online and today i got a message saying that not one egg hatched. I attached my item description to this... i'm not sure what they want or if they just wanted me to know... but i guess we'll see...
Yeah.... They probably had all hatch and want more for free. Or they broke them. You can't trust people these days! You said exactly there is no guaranteed hatch rate.

I wouldn't go back on your policy. I've bought plenty of eggs off ebay. Even recently I had a terrible hatch rate. 1 set was 4/14 and the other was 0/11. But it was mostly my fault. My temps were off. The first set all but 2 made it to lockdown and the other one only 3 the rest were clear.

There is no way you can guaretee anything with shipped eggs. That's the chance you take!!

So he sent a request for a refund for the eggs...it doesn't give me a place to decline but gives me a place to message. I think what i am going to say is "that's sad that they didn't hatch, however i did say that i can't guarantee they hatch. As a one time thing i can ship you out new ones if you are ok with paying for some of the shipping. "

No!
I do not think you should offer more eggs.
