Do you think that if you offer more eggs they are going to not leave a negative comment?
What if those eggs don't hatch either....it is a never ending cycle.

I would pay no attention to a negative comment, if I were you.

It sounds like he is not an experienced incubator of shipped eggs. All egg sellers can not guarantee hatch rate for shipped eggs, all clearly say they are not responsible for incubation practices or how the PO handled the box. Shipper is only responsible for selling fresh, fertile eggs and packing as carefully as possible.

I have bought tons of shipped eggs over the years and I have had 100% hatches and zero and I have never requested a refund for a bad hatch. Shipped eggs are a gamble. The last three batches I have received were packed beautifully but the shipping severely damaged the air cells and I was lucky to get 1 to hatch out of 12. That's just how it goes.

If you want to be nice you can offer a one time replacement but they need to pay for ALL the shipping. I don't think you need to offer replacement eggs but that's up to you. If you know your eggs are fertile and you can confirm a good fertility rate, that is all you need to do. More than likely, the air cells were damaged which is too common these days or his incubation practices need some work. Just because they didn't hatch, doesn't mean that they were infertile, and it is so frustrating to read seller reviews where buyers claim they weren't fertile because none hatched. That just shows how inexperienced they are. I'm sorry you are having to deal with this.

I have to agree with everyone else on here - I would not offer to send more eggs - it's a gamble for everyone that orders eggs on eBay or any other site - it's a gamble!
I would just say sorry for your hatch rate but I clearly states I can't guarantee anything.

If it makes you feel any better, when I read seller reviews and there are negative comments, I only pay attention to what the negative comment leaver actually says to determine if I buy the eggs. If they leave idiot comments like "none were fertile because zero hatched" I know that buyer doesn't know anything about incubating let alone incubating shipped eggs and I go ahead and buy the eggs. Now if I see a buyer comment say something like "candling at 14 days showed zero vein development or eggs received had huge air cells indicating they were not fresh eggs that were sent" then I would have to really question if I want to buy those eggs because the negative comment sounded like it came from someone that knows what they are talking about and the seller may not be legit. Ebay is full of buyers that want to complain about everything. Egg sellers are ONLY responsible for sending fresh fertile eggs and packing them for a safe as possible, that is it. If this guy leaves a negative comment, real egg buyers will see his comment and disregard it. If it scares some buyers off, then those are the buyers like this guy that you don't want to deal with anyway.

I wouldn't go back on your policy. I've bought plenty of eggs off ebay. Even recently I had a terrible hatch rate. 1 set was 4/14 and the other was 0/11. But it was mostly my fault. My temps were off. The first set all but 2 made it to lockdown and the other one only 3 the rest were clear.

There is no way you can guarantee anything with shipped eggs. That's the chance you take!!

You also don't want them to leave a review saying that their first eggs didn't hatch so they had to pay shipping for a second set of eggs that still didn't hatch. Your policy is very clearly stated, I wouldn't go down that rabbit hole.
