Fertile eggs that were sat on all day, can I take them away and incubate later?

Hi all,

My broody is currently on day 14 of an incubation, and in a general nest box where the others can still lay eggs that she steals! My friend has asked for some of my fertile eggs. So I rescued 2 New volunteered eggs from under her this afternoon to take away and give to my friend tomorrow. My question is, because they were sat on for about 9 hours today, would this have damaged their viability? Do I need to wait for some more that haven’t been sat on at all?

Thanks all

They should be fine.. when I have broodies and they sneak off with others eggs... I kick them off at the end of the day and take their eggs.... they are totally fine

That early, they can go without heat for several hours and be fine. I had a hen get off the nest for about six hours on day three. 4/5 eggs hatched, and one was fully formed but never internally pipped.
