I was just wondering ...............................

My drake did the deed with one of mt hens today. She hasn't layed an egg yet , i just wondered how long will her eggs be fertile? I wanted to incubate some in the future. She hasn't laid yet and i am sure he will do it again.
Also how long do you incubate them for? ANy help would be helpful~

your hen will have fertile eggs for 2 weeks. not sure how long you incubate duck eggs for though. sorry

Your drake is probably doing that same deed about ten times for every once you catch him at it.

Duck eggs incubate for about 28 days, unless they are muscovies, in which case it's longer--I think 36, but I'm not sure.

LOL, that is funny! i saw him and he was in the pool with her. My DH was like,"dirty boy" I looked over and was like,"NO, that's awesome!" Thanks ~

Im incubating some right now!

They will be fertile for up to two weeks. ou incubate them for 28 days for regular ducks and 35 for muscovies. Temp needs ro be at 99.5 and humidity at 55 - 65. Id try and keep it at around 65.
