Is there a way to tell if a egg is fertile, when you take them out of the cage .crack them open and look for what ? These are cortunix texas a& m .

Just sampled 15 more no donuts , Looks like I have bunch of duds, about 40 .Any thing I can do?

Depending on where you are located, fertility may be low due to being winter. The lower light and colder temps causes lower fertility rates in both the males and the females.

Shouldn't it be checked 12-24 hours after its in room temp? (I don't know, just wondering)
