Fertilised egg?? No rooster..

Example so you know what I meant lol
Chickens are related to dinosaurs which I lived in Montana and dinosaurs thrived here somehow millions of years ago but never met a single person here who has even seen a bone or fragment and we dig all summer for gems in the mountains not even any bones on display here cuz they are a myth lol science is theories not facts
Like what you are saying is a theory?
Anyways, let's not drift off topic. I would like to see the outcome of this egg mystery and not have it shut down because of an argument. ;)

Is it possible for a chalaza to collapse into a ring shape if the egg is cracked/poured out just right? In other words could it LOOK like a germinal disc?

Perhaps not, especially if I am seeing a chalaza in the upper portion of the original photo?

But I just have to ask if there are no roosters around! Crazy!

:popThis is very interesting. So this could mean some of my eggs aren't fertile even though they have the bullseye? Darn it. I was doubtful of all the fertile eggs I have, even with 3 roosters, because they are three pathetic roosters. One just scares the hens away when he tries, and the silkie is so short he can't climb on the hen! Also, love the Ian Malcom post, Life finds a way. Perfect!
