Fertilization Question???

I have 18 hens with one rooster, he has been in with them for a couple of months, If i remove him and put a different rooster in, how long before they are fertilized by the new rooster, and how long before the old roosters love potion wears off??

some people say 2 weeks, some say more to be absolutely sure.

2 or 3 weeks although some studies indicate that a hen can retain sperm from a rooster for up to 4 weeks. After 2 weeks, the majority of the chicks should be sired be the new rooster.
