"Fess Up Everyone, How Many Eggs A Day Do You Really Eat?

I don't eat eggs................sorry, not my thing unless in a cake mix or recipe calls for them.

My hubby eats them daily, BUT I keep getting on him - a healthy diet low in cholesterol should only entail eating eggs three times a week (his cholesterol is HIGH)

Hardly at all right now. But then I make something big and wonderful. Or boil them. We are pulling in a little over two dozen pullet eggs a day right now. LOL, I'm trying to sell them for a dollar a dozen. I just fed a ton of them boiled and mashed back to the chickens. Come on future egg customers, where are you?

We go through spurts. Sometimes we eat none, them all the sudden, we eat a whole dozen in one night. Im bad about making quiche at the drop of the hat, that takes care of plenty at once.

None...can't stand cooked eggs unless they're deviled eggs. My kids aren't big fans either except every once in a blue moon. I have 6 dozen eggs in my fridge and no clue what to do with them..

Maybe it's time to go get some miracle whip and make some deviled eggs, huh?

ETA: The dog LURVES getting eggs in his food...probably 8 eggs a week.

I eat about .43 eggs per day.

That's about 3 per week

Imp- It's hard training the hens to lay a .43rd of an egg

Not much, I have probably one or 2 per week... It's my daughter and hubby that really go through them! Every morning for breakfast Lilly asks for eggs and bacon.

humm, i remember reading some one's post (i think it was one of Spekledhens) that eggs do not have any thing to do with a rise of cholesterol. I hope Cyn chimes in

We eat a dozen to a dozen and a half a week. I just made potato salad for a picnic and used two dozen. I got my first egg just two days ago so with only one laying I'm still buying from the store

Just something interesting to pass on, when my sister was younger she was a vegetarian....one of those that never ate vegetables!

She mostly ate quesadillas and eggs. She ate at least three
eggs a day. When she went to the doctor and they checked her cholesterol they wanted to know what her diet was. They had never seen such LOW cholesterol in anyone before! Ever since I eat as many
as I want. I love 'em.

My favorite way to eat eggs: boil your eggs, chop them up, add butter and salt while steaming hot, mash them up some more...........mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!! TASTY!

my pullets aren't laying yet they are only 10 weeks old, but I just recently started buying from a lady down the street, got 4 different colour eggs...lol...so I purchased 3 dozen, my kids love the blue and green ones, not that the inside is different they just love the colour of the shell...lol...anyhow to answer the question...

2 in the am for the dog (who needs weight) and usually I bake a couple times a week, we make pancakes on sundays and saturday nights we have breakfast for dinner (everyone's favorite) so in total I go through 18 eggs per week at minimum.
