I bought 12 golden comets in April, then in June , a friend gave me 7 more birds. Everything was fine with 16 to 19 eggs daily. then 2 weeks ago I got 8 pullets to keep up with egg demand. then last week we had high heat and humidity move in (So. ohio) and egg production dropped to 4-5 in the last three days with feed and water consumption dropping also. Is this heat stress or maybe something else. Temps are backto normal today but still noeggs as of this morning. Thanks

Chickens often slow down production in the summer when it is hot. Just make sure they have plenty of water
