Also when do chickens stop laying? is there a time a year like winter when they stop laying or do they lay year round?

Some will lay all year, and some won't. My Buff Orpingtons and my Rhode Island Reds lay all year round. Sometimes older hens won't lay in the winter.

When do you go out and collect eggs? morning, night? or anytime of day? also how long can eggs lay out before they are no longer good to eat, in case i go out of town and can't find someone to collect for me.

well its been over 100 for about 4 months down here so far so if i get them at least every day i will be good?

try turkins" naked necks" they do real well in the heat and mine lay year round for me and it hot in the summer and cold in winter here and she still keeps laying eggs daily!

Ok called a lady today about some production reds that are about 75 weeks old price is right and they are already laying so no waiting... lol i don't like waiting... any ways she told me that they have never been vaccinated, should i worry about that or buy them and give them vaccine now? or are they too old. also she has Tetras which i have no idea what they are can't find anything on them, she said they are about the same as the reds
