Few Questions.... My First Turkeys :)

I am getting Bourban Red's and Narragansett.

I am planning on getting 2 of each. If I end up with breeding pairs, Then thats what they will be but otherwise Im planning on raising them for meat...

How long do these breeds take? Thanks!

to be full grown at least 6 months to 8 months.

From what I have read if they were hatched in the spring or early summer it would be the next spring before most would lay.
That's not saying that some might lay before that.
I understand wild breed mix will be more so seasonal when food is plentifully and would lay in the spring to allow the offspring to be big enough to make it threw the winter.
There are people here much more wiser than me and may have more to add to or correct my information I have supplied.

I have Bourbon Red's I would like to also get some Narragansetts.

I have Bourbon Red and Narragansett eggs in my bator right now ! and this is my first time with Turkeys also !
