Fiesty 28 week pullet going for me if go near her advice pls

"Peck" her with your index and middle fingers and keep at her until you drive her off.
No sassiness from the ladies is permitted. Good luck to you if this gal ever decides to go broody!
This!^^^

Have had this happen several times, mostly with hand fed chicks often as they come of age and get spunky. It's pretty easily curbed with calm and deliberate determination.

I peck them back, on the head or anywhere I can reach, with the tips of thumb and first 2 fingers, as hard and fast as many times as I can before they get away. Well, not hard enough to hurt them, just startle them and let them you mean business. That's what another chicken would do, so they understand that kind of communication.

If that doesn't work after a couple applications, I hold them down to the ground with my hand on their back until they submit....again firmly enough to get the job done but not hurt them....add a few finger pecks and/or tug on the feathers on the back of their neck.

Not rehoming her shes not a bad chick and she doesnt deliberately come chasing me unless im to near her i dont want to hurt her jus want to show her a little dominance so she stops doing it thats why i was asking for advice no way getting rid of my gal lol cxx

Ok! Then please don't hurt her. See if she does it again before punishing her.

I Understand, I'm not saying that you hurt her at all, it sounds like you really care about her.
But chasing them and poking them a lot can be stressful... I just wanted to be sure this was regular aggression.

Discipline is different than punishment.
Pecking is how chickens communicate, to say "hey, back off" or "no, don't do that".
It's a 'language' they understand.

All i did wen she came at me 3 times and disnt stop is give her light flick didnt hurt her at all i wouldnt am considering a rooster to go with my 10 gals xx
I don't think a rooster will solve this problem, and could introduce other problems.
