I have been married a long time well not as long as you, so it is baby steps
Should I also bring a white elephant? and what qualifies as a white elephant? Also Saturday is pot luck for supper? Are there certain things that are needed yet?

good morning, as I observed last year. Friday supper is up to the individuals.. there is a fire in the pit and a grill for over the fire to cook hot dogs and steaks..

pot luck is noonish on Saturday and continuous through the night until Sunday ..

Perishables will be put into the refrigerator, but you can still go help yourself..

just like at home..

Don't ask Terri for a cuppa,, she will tell you your arm is not broken ..

and if Terri has a butcher knife in her hand, children beware ..

as far as what you should bring ? what ever your favorite specialty is..
I like bbq hamburger (sloppy joe's) on ho-made buns .. just saying ..

the white elephant has sort of gotten out of hand.. people used to bring whatever they couldn't stand and wanted to get rid of.
lately some pretty nice items have been submitted, and that makes for some lively trading ..

Yeah, well I am having difficulties convincing the oldest two to come. They think they will be bored and there will be nobody for them to talk to.

good afternoon, if you really want to have some fun, just take a 15 year old girl camping in the wide open spaces.. One that really really doesn't want to go.. that was our youngest,, we would have been d@mned if we were going to leave her home.. can we say "party time" boys and girls ? I didn't know so much complaining could come out of one person..
