Now, what is it? I couldn't pass it up for 58 cents. Its hard to tell but it has sort of green legs and feet, and a double comb. I have no idea what this is. But someone has been pecking at it's poor tail feathers. How can I keep my other chicks from picking at it more? Thank you!

Sicilian Buttercup? It's hard to tell from your picture, but the comb looks like it could be a buttercup comb.

I know, my camera just kept flooding everything with too much brightness and it's making me mad. I wanted to put a good pic of the comb. It's sort of double and rounded. Thanks for replying. I have no idea what it is or if it will even lay eggs. I hope so, lol.

Of course I've never heard of a buttercup. Is it a good bird? When will I be able to tell if it's a rooster or a hen? Any ideas what I can do about it's sore tail area?

Our friends have 2 Buttercups and say they are their friendliest birds. I don't know a whole lot about them except they are pretty and lay white eggs.
