Fight broodiness with peep sounds?

My son is putting his phone down by our broody layer with recorded baby chick peep sounds playing.

Anybody tried this? Supposedly the peep sounds are what make a hen stop sitting once the egg hatch.

48 hours without food. Just water. She will be fine.

Can play around for a week or more in a suspended cage with food and water and she may or may not still be broody. 48 hours in a suspended cage with water only and she's ready to go back to work. Almost like a mini forced molt. Resets the system.

My show hens are too valuable to be playing mother. LFW cornish have a VERY limited egg production period each year and are very persnickety about laying eggs with drastic weather changes.

I need to get the eggs while the getting is good.

Shes gonna be REALLY hungry when you turn her loose.

I'm as shocked as anyone.

I always feed the broody in the wire cage. I have never failed to break the broodiness.
