Fight broodiness with peep sounds?

My son is putting his phone down by our broody layer with recorded baby chick peep sounds playing.

Anybody tried this? Supposedly the peep sounds are what make a hen stop sitting once the egg hatch.

I'll let y'all know how it works.

Hen is going to bond with player if she is far along enough in the broody cycle.
