Randolf suddenly emerged from the trees. "Uh, hi Violet.... Iv'e been nervous to confess this to you, but I just wanted to say I think you're nice and do you wanna be mates?" He said quickly.

Viper glared daggers at him " Why would she want to be mates with you!" He snarls quickly, he would not let Randolf take his chance of having Violet

Viper snorts "Hey buddy it sounds like you haven't looked in a puddle lately because you actually sound sure of your scrawny useless self" he growls back coolly, his fur starting to bristle ever so slightly

Violet looked at them both with horror. She couldn't be believe they wanted to be her mate. And that they would fight over her. She wanted a mate, and was going to say yes to Randolph, when Viper intervened. She didn't know he liked her.
