Fighting Hens

You do need to separate them, whether you’re doing separate enclosures or selling one. Good luck!

@casportpony
Once again, I have tried separation, it is not helping. I have tried giving them away but nobody wants them. The separation only seems to make it worse because they have to be inside all the time then. It's either figure out a solution at this point or butcher. My hands are tied.

And they're laying normally? No mites or anything? In the absence of that, maybe it's just a pecking order thing that has gone extreme because no one will give in?
Nope everything is completly normal. I think that is exactly what it is.

Eek. I'm sorry. Are you allowed (or willing to) have a rooster? He might break it up.
Yes I can have a rooster I’m out in the country. The only issue is with COVID I’m not able to get one and we don’t have any places here with adults. So I will be free ranging for now and hopefully it helps.

I hope that helps! If it was me I would definitely keep my eye out for a roo to maybe help get them in line. Other than that I'd just watch for the biggest offender and take that one out, which hopefully would make everyone restructure.
