Chirping
Hi!
I am brand new to raising chicks, and I have 6 buff orpingtons. I’ve had them for a couple of weeks, but from pictures I’ve seen and such, I believe they are probably 3 to 4 weeks old. They are a little way into the raptor stage, and kind of look like tiny dinosaurs. My wife and daughter and I decided we wanted to have an egg laying flock (what the guy at the tractor supply store affectionately referred to as a pet chicken). Currently we’re sitting on our hands and waiting to find out if we have to cull any (city ordinances don’t allow for roosters). Fingers crossed!

Started with them, tried a few others but always come back to them.
you got all pullets, when they're 6wks post pictures & members love guessing the gender. Orpingtons are a large breed so hope you've got the coop/run started or done
Glad you joined us
