I woke up this morning to 2 little kittens (maybe 4 weeks olf) on my porch. As I was checking the gender I noticed a little worm coming out of the males rear end. I'm guessing he has worms and since he does I'm guessing his sister does also. Vet visits are $80 each and no no-kill shelters are accepting new kittens right now. Does anyone know of an over the counter medicine I can give them? I fed them some wet food this morning and they ate fine so I'm thinking around 5 weeks old.

Go to the pet supply and start reading labels. You ought to be able to find something that would work.

If their eyes are not blue they’re more around 6 weeks and older. Our babies got Droncit but it was given by the vet and looks to be prescription. If they were small white worms like a grain of rice you’re probably looking at tapeworms. But because they are babies and you aren’t sure what all else is going on with them, maybe call and ask the veterinarian about getting them checked out affordably and explain you don’t plan to keep them you just want to get them dewormed. Another valuable option, instead of the shelter, reach out to a cat rescue in your area.

I've reached out to every rescue. All are full and not accepting kittens. They said its kitten season. I'm so clueless about the age. I'm one of those people that adopt the senior kitties instead of kittens. I'll try calling around to vets. Maybe one can work with me.

Yes it is actually kitten season and most places are truly probably full. Even though you are one of the kind folks who adopts an older pet, consider these babies. People are having a very hard time finding homes for the massive influx of kittens right now. Otherwise, maybe the vets will help you work on a lower cost to get these babies fixed up, and you can ask around to friends and family and coworkers or put ads in paper for them to find a home. Ask a small rehoming fee in paper or online to deter irresponsible homes.

Maybe try this:

The one on the left is beautiful, if I didn’t live many states away I would love to have her lol.

Another thought, contact a low cost spay and neuter clinic or shelter about trap neuter release (TNR program) which should be no cost to you, because the kittens came from somewhere which means their are adults around having babies. Getting the adults fixed helps prevent it from continuing the cycle.

Good for you to take care of them!
We had a starving kitten show up early last month. Full of fleas. Not housebroken. We paid the vet bill, worming, shots. Got him neutered last week. We knew that every shelter is overwhelmed with kittens. He’s turned out to be the most loving and lovable little guy. He even gets along with the dogs. We all just love him.
We named him Ollie.
