It's in Maine. Ellsworth is maybe 30 minutes or so from the town that Ma_Kettle lives. More like Amarillo to Plainview, if not closer. Or Lubbock to Floydada...

Ummm styrofoam doesnt count! Amy said it has to have good stuff inside.. and um, I'll be needing all sorts of cool Mainer stuff. lol I'll take a real lobster trap, some clam digging utensils... and uh... a scallop net.. and a boat, and a..... and a... and a....

Awh heck, that's what I was afraid of. You all could stay right here in Texas...come on up to Amarillo and live. Schools are fantastic here, not to mention the people are so friendly.

Well after a lot of discussions and talks with everyone, it will just be easier for us if we are up there. Jim's family is up there, the girls havent met them but once. His son lives there, and the girls miss thier brother. To us, there are more oppurtunites there. I can find a job here, no prob. But there, I can find a career easier. They arent as set on you have to pass this test before we can get you that secretary job... I dont have a college degree, and around here being so close to the border, they make it seem like I can only get a job at mccdonalds without a degree.
I want to be able to show my kids, look honey, veggies come out of the ground! Here, I can only show them rocks come from the caliche dirt. lol

That, and my mom's side of the fam live all around the Lubbock area, ACK! Then they would MAKE me go to the family reunions!

Geez Maine is the worst place to find a job. Have you thought of selling something on ebay. It's not hard to figure out what people are looking for. Dog stuff, cat stuff, kid stuff you know....Too bad your not up here Old Town canoe is hiring most of the time. They are a great company to work for also labrees bakery, always hiring. I worked there as a cake decorator for a spell. They have a place near Ellsworth that does research on rats, no kidding and they pay very well. Can't think of the name. Senior moment I guess. I like working for myself better. No social butterfly here.
