Final Hatch Analysis with Pics!!!

Eh... You should come! Those chicks will be fine! Besides, if your home, your more likely to want to open the incubator anyway, and thats never a good thing!

Come and see us! There will be more of us at the State Fair than there were at the RRBC show.

Thank you for the photos, Christopher... I think that's what I have here... ?

Except that she doesn't have the silver neck, that I can see. Thanks for your input.

Thats a blue.

If you breed it to another blue, you can get blue, black, or splash. If you breed it to a black, you can get black or blue. Blue is really the most versatile variety because you can breed it to three different colors (blue, black, splash.) Hattrick Silkies has a good webpage on blues and breeding them. http://www.hattricksilkies.net/blue.html

This
is my little blue boy.... (well his head shot at least...)

I for sure know the whites, and I'm pretty sure about my lavender, though he has issues. And the splash. But the blue, black and grey are kicking my butt!

And I for sure know that I either have a LOT of work to do on my birds, or I need to start getting eggs from Christopher...

I dunno, but get the impression that "blue" is not only the most versatile but also has a very wide range of expressions, from very pale to very dark.

Looks to me as if those birds are also blues, but I'm going to stay tuned here and see what anyone else thinks.
