Final Incubating Day For Coturnix Eggs.

i am getting depressed because they don't seem to move or to be chirping or breaking through the egg. idk it was suppose to be my first batch. so sad.

Don't give up! They are not always on time. I have had button quail hatch day 21 which is day 23 in Coturnix terms.

Don't give up.
They can typically range from 16 to 18 days depending on your incubation temps. Sometimes longer.

I've only seen 2 of my eggs move before hatching.
Haven't ever heard chirping in quail eggs.
Quail are funny. You'll see no sign of hatching/pips, leave for 5 mins and suddenly there are quail all over the 'bator

When they decide to hatch it's a right now turbo speed pip, zip, and out .

from my personal experience most of mine hatch on day 18 and my incubator is usually set at 99.5 so dont give up

Too soon to worry, day 19 hatches happen too, my last batch hatched on days 17,18, & 19, so you're still in the window for hatching.

yay 2 hatched but one of them died when it came out and the other ones are pocking out! just wondering how long do i leave it in the incubator them move it to the brooder? till it drys? THANKS EVERYONE!
