Finally!!! An egg!!!!

Yesterday we finally got an egg from my Barred Rock, Roxy!!!! We are so happy! It is so tiny and perfect!

Seems like it took years!! Lol. I blew the egg out and wrote her name and the date on it.

Soft shelled eggs can come at about any time. I've had girls that were laying for a year drop a soft shell one then go right back to normal ones.

I also got another egg today from a different chicken I think. I am thinking it is fom my White Crested Black Polish, Pom-Pom! I wasn't here when it was laid so I don't know for sure.
