I finally got my first egg! I never thought it would come.

Best part, it is from my Silkie, Cheese.

I am beyond excited!!!

You named your silkie 'CHEESE'? Can you explain how that came about? Not being critical, I have one named Ninja Chicken....

LOL! I love clever names. I had one black silkie roo that would do a vocalization that sounded like "WHAAAAAAaaaaahhhh" (think martial artist) right before mounting a hen. So I named him Jet Li & the hens would scatter.
