FINALLY at 32 weeks old…

My Welsummer Speedy finally laid an egg. So now all my pullets are laying.

All my other pullets (who are a few weeks older) have been laying for at least two months. Speedy took her sweet time, lol.

so pretty! I am so jealous! I have 8 that were hatched mid April. 7 started to lay from Aug-Oct. One still hasn't started and out of the others 6/7 have stopped laying, one stopped the beginning of Oct!!!! I had 2 pullets laying up till about 1.5 weeks ago when the 2nd one stopped. and 2 that hatched April 2021 were still laying but one hasn't laid since Mon the other Tue so think they have stopped now. So out of 16 that are more than of age to lay I only have 1 still going. I have 4 that are almost 22 weeks keep wondering if they will wait till Feb when the days get longer or start before then.....
